Its the story about the impending end-of-the-world, and how an angel called Aziraphale and a demon called Crowley (both who are immortal, and living on Earth) get caught up in events. Itβs back in the shops because apparently there is a new TV series based on it. I honestly can say I had never even heard of it, until I was given a copy for Christmas. Apparently it was a phenomenon, with a huge fan base and rave reviews. I certainly missed out on Good Omens back in 1990 when it was published. I do remember reading a few of them, and enjoying them, but I never got further than that. It was my era, but I was more into hard science fiction at the time β Asimov and Clarke β and probably a bit snobby about all that fantasy stuff. I missed out on the whole Terry Pratchett thing in the 80s and 90s.
